Photography | Video Production | Creative Direction | Web Design
I’m Renee Farias, a Los Angeles-based commercial photographer, video producer, and creative director creating visual content for brands, businesses, advertising agencies, marketing teams, and professionals.
Photography and video are at the center of what I do. They shape how a company is seen, how a story is communicated, and often how a potential customer experiences a brand for the first time.
But great visual content also needs the right place to live.
That’s why my work can extend beyond photography and video into web design and development—bringing the imagery, motion, messaging, and digital experience together as one cohesive brand presence.
Every project begins with understanding what the client needs to communicate, who they need to reach, and where the finished content will be used.
From there, I develop and produce visual content around the brand, audience, and campaign objectives.
Services include:
A website is often one of the most important places a company's photography and video will be seen.
The challenge is that many websites are designed first, and visual content is treated as something to fill the available spaces afterward.
I often approach the process from the opposite direction.
When photography, video, branding, and web design are considered together, we can plan the visual content around how people will actually experience the brand—from hero imagery and product photography to team portraits, lifestyle content, video, and supporting visuals throughout the site.
For clients who need both content and a new website, this creates an opportunity to develop the two together rather than treating them as separate projects.
The result is a website where the design supports the visual content and the visual content strengthens the design.
My clients range from entrepreneurs and growing businesses to established companies, advertising agencies, and marketing teams.
Some clients come to me for a single photography or video production. Others need an ongoing creative partner who can help develop a consistent visual identity across multiple campaigns and platforms.
I also collaborate directly with advertising agencies and in-house marketing departments, working as an extension of their creative team when additional photography, video production, or creative direction is needed.
For businesses developing or refreshing their digital presence, that relationship can also extend into web design—giving them a single creative direction across their photography, video, and website.
Strong visual content isn't simply about producing a beautiful photograph or polished video. It needs to serve a purpose.
Before production begins, I want to understand the company, audience, message, and intended use of the content.
That collaborative process helps ensure the photography and video we create can work effectively across websites, advertising campaigns, social media, presentations, marketing materials, and other brand touchpoints.
And when I'm also developing the website, those decisions can be made together from the beginning—considering composition, orientation, movement, negative space, cropping, responsive design, and how photography and video will function across desktop and mobile experiences.
Whether I'm working directly with a business owner or alongside an experienced creative or marketing team, my role is the same: understand the objective, develop the visual approach, and execute it professionally.
My professional background began in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, where service, preparation, discipline, and attention to detail were fundamental to the job.
Those principles continue to influence how I approach my work today.
I personally lead the creative direction, photography, and video production on my projects, working with additional creative professionals when a production requires a larger team.
The goal is to give every client the same level of attention—from the initial conversation and creative development through production and delivery.
Over the years, my work has included projects for and with brands and companies such as:
L'Oréal Cosmetics • MAC • Sephora • Budweiser • Banana Republic • J.Crew • Good Fellow • Particle • Bellini • Sashka Co. • Emperia Caviar • Dr. Susan Evans Skin Care
